2021 Week 14: Covid-19 Cases Drop Below 600


Nigeria, in the fourteen week of 2021, recorded a total of 584 cases of COVID-19.

On average, the country had over  83.4 daily records of cases between April 2nd and April 8th, 2021.

According to Nigerian Center for Disease Control, the country had recorded a total number of 66 on Friday, 2nd of April. This, however, dropped to 50 and increased to 82 cases recorded on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

At the beginning of the week, NCDC reported a total of 135 cases on Monday, 5th of April. While 58 and 110 cases were reported on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

Nigeria reported 83 cases of COVID-19 at the end of the week, 8th of April 2021.

The total number of COVID-19 cases at the end of the week rose to 163, 518  with a death rate of 2058 and 154,005  discharged cases.
