 2021 Week 15: Covid-19 Cases Consecutively Drops

The total cases of COVID-19 recorded in the fifteenth week of 2021 have dropped to 499 against the over 600 cases recorded in the previous week. On average, Nigeria had 71.3 cases reported daily in the fifteenth week.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Nigeria reported 71 cases of COVID-19 on Friday, 9th of April and increased to 84 cases on Saturday, 10 of April 2021. There was, however, a significant drop to 57 cases reported on Sunday.

At the resumption of a new week, the country reported 44 and 74 cases on Monday, 12th of April and Tuesday, 13th April 2021. On Wednesday, NCDC reported 89 cases and this dropped to 80 cases reported on Thursday, 15th April.

 At the closing of the fourth week, Nigeria had total confirmed cases of 164,080 and 2061  deaths with 154,258 discharged.
