Stallions Motors has launched Nigeria’s first fully assembled local electric car at an elaborate ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.

The Hyundai KONA has an exceptional electric driving range of up to 300 miles, a 64 kWh battery life and a touch screen entertainment system.

In attendance at the unveiling were dignitaries like the Minister of Trade and Investment, Niyi Adebayo, Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, the Director-General National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Jelani Aliyu, Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Inuwa Abdulahi, and the CEO of Stallion Motors, Anat Badjatya.

Recall that the Hyundai Kona was first unveiled by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at VON Automobiles in Ojo, Lagos State where the car was manufactured.

The Electric car which would reportedly retail at N24 million was manufactured with mostly locally sourced materials and guarantees a 100% electric and zero-emission standard.
